The nations long for unity while resisting the King in whom alone true unity is possible. Christ does not join men by treating truth and error as equal; He makes one people by one Faith, one Baptism, and life in His Mystical Body. Pray for conversions and refuse every counterfeit peace purchased by silence about His rights.
Adore the Blessed Trinity and place the complete day—not merely its devotional moments—within the divine plan of sanctification.
Formation in True Devotion - Day 22: The Trinity's Order of Grace through Mary
“The conduct which the Three Persons of the Most Holy Trinity have deigned to pursue in the Incarnation and first coming of Jesus Christ, They still pursue daily in an invisible manner throughout the whole Church, and They will still pursue it even to the consummation of ages in the last coming of Jesus Christ.”
The Blessed Trinity is the source and final end of the whole economy of grace. The Father's will, the Son's Incarnation and Redemption, and the Holy Ghost's sanctifying work are one divine plan. Mary's maternal office is entirely within that plan and entirely ordered to the reign of Jesus Christ.
Let your spiritual life acquire the same unity. Doctrine, prayer, sacraments, Marian devotion, mortification, works of mercy, and daily duties must not become disconnected interests. All must proceed from God, conform you to Christ, and return you in the Holy Ghost to the Father.

Offer the day before spending it
Prayer gives the day its right beginning and its right end. Before work, conversation, news, or distraction claims the mind, adore the Blessed Trinity and offer every prayer, work, joy, suffering, and temptation to Jesus through Mary. Ask your Guardian Angel for help, and place the souls and needs entrusted to you beneath God's will.
Begin simply. Make the Morning Offering through the hands of Our Lady. Pray the Three Hail Marys for purity and final perseverance, ask your Guardian Angel to govern the senses and imagination, and name the soul or intention for which today's prayers and sacrifices will be offered. Do not rush these acts merely because they are familiar; let them place the whole day beneath God before the world begins to claim it.
O King of the nations and desire of all, come and save man whom Thou hast formed from the earth; bring wandering souls into Thy one fold.

Pope St. Gregory the Great, Homily 20 on the Gospels
“Bring forth fruits worthy of repentance.”
- The Breviary hears St. John Baptist demand not words of sorrow only, but fruits worthy of repentance.
- St. Gregory teaches that the measure of penance should answer the measure of sin, each soul judging itself before God.
- Advent preparation becomes concrete when unlawful pleasure is repaired by discipline, contrition, and amendment.
Let repentance take shape. Name the sin, hate it, repair what can be repaired, and offer penance proportioned to the wound.

At Rome, between the two bay -trees on the Lavican road, the birthday of thirty holy martyrs, who were ajl on one day crownd with martyrdom, in the persecution of Diocletian. — In the same city, St. Flavian, ex-prefect, who, under Julian the Apostate, was condemned to be branded for Christ, and banished to Aquae Taurinae, where he gave up his soul to God in prayer. — At Ostia, the holy martyrs Demetrius, Honoratus and Florus. — At Alexandria, the holy martyr Ischyrion. Because he dispised all the cruelties they made him suffer to force him to sacrifice to idols, they transpierced his bowels with a sharp-pointed stake, and thus put him to death. — In Egypt, the Saint Chseremon, bishop of Nilopolis, and many other martyrs. Valid Sacraments Are a Grave Priority
Remain here for a little while. The purpose is not to gather another fact, but to allow today's Catholic truth to judge the heart, strengthen the will, and become an act offered to God.
The Church places this truth before you today: The faithful must seek valid sacraments with prudence, sacrifice, and holy seriousness, without inventing sacraments or despising them. Do not hurry past it as though doctrine belonged only to books and controversies. A revealed truth is also a light by which the soul must judge its loyalties, its fears, its habits, and the duties immediately before it. Families often move for work, schools, or safety. The sacraments are a higher good, and should weigh heavily in practical decisions when God makes such a move possible.
The grace to be practiced is Make every preparation duty requires through confession, restitution, silence, and prayer, drawn from today's Gospel. Ask God for more than the natural appearance of this virtue. Temperament may make an action seem easy for a time, but supernatural virtue remains faithful because God is worthy of obedience, even when feeling offers no assistance and no one notices the cost. Practice unity of life by ordering prayer, work, relationships, suffering, and rest toward the glory of God.
There is also an enemy to recognize: Resist home-alone despair when it becomes settled indifference to seeking valid sacraments. Do not study this danger only in other people. Look quietly for the door by which it seeks entrance into your own soul - perhaps through delay, curiosity, resentment, human respect, attachment to comfort, or the desire to control the outcome. Dying to self today means choosing make every preparation duty requires through confession, restitution, silence, and prayer when pride, comfort, fear, resentment, or human respect asks for control.
Do the faithful act and entrust its fruit to divine Providence, God's wise and loving governance of all things. Place effort and outcome into Our Lady's hands so that the whole offering may be presented to her Divine Son. Confidence in God is not passivity: obey, pray, work, and accept that visible success, consolation, or immediate relief may not be given. God remains faithful when the duty is hidden and the outcome uncertain. Therefore, perform the duty that belongs to you, use the lawful means God has provided, and then surrender the fruit. Reject the divided life that gives God religious moments while reserving other hours for self-will. Consecrate all your duties through Mary to Jesus, asking the Holy Ghost to make every lawful act serve the Father's glory.

Formation in The Imitation of Christ - Day 22: Book II - The Interior Life
“Regard not much who is with thee, nor who is against thee, but be this thy greatest study, that God may be with thee.”
Human approval is a poor compass. With Mary, seek first to be faithful to Jesus Christ and His Church, whether praise follows or not.
The desire to be supported can subtly alter judgment before you notice it. It softens a necessary word, delays a duty, or makes loneliness appear to be proof that fidelity was mistaken. Examine the act by Catholic truth and your real obligations; then leave the company or opposition of men in God's hands.
Today's Practice
Perform right acts without checking whether anyone noticed.
Before Night Falls
Return the completed day to God.
Give thanks before measuring the day by feeling or visible success. Ask light to see faults without discouragement, make an Act of Contrition, forgive injuries, and place tomorrow beneath divine Providence.
Gather the entire day into a complete offering to the Blessed Trinity and repent of every division between profession and conduct.
